Leesburg, Va. — When the top two teams in the Dulles District met on October 9, it was a highly-anticipated clash of the titans. The Riverside High School field hockey team dominated most aspects of that game, defeating Heritage High School, 4-1. Leesburg, Va. — In a very back and forth game on October 16, the Woodgrove High School field hockey shocked the Dulles District; the Wolverines defeated powerhouse Heritage High School in Purcellville. Woodgrove scored two goals in the first half of that game, and Heritage simply couldn’t recover.
