Sterling, Va. — Picking up where she left off last season, Heritage High School junior Leah Trepal continues to be a force in Loudoun County gymnastics. Trepal won each event, scoring an all-around 37.250 to lead the field at a six-team meet in Sterling on December 13. Led by sophomore Bre Roeder, freshman Riley Waldrop and junior Katie MacDonald, Freedom High School won the team competition, edging Trepal and the Pride,  137.050-134.500. Baltimore, Md. — APEX Level 9 gymnasts Caroline Cascadden and Lauren Greene won the all-around in their respective age groups at the Christmas on the Chesapeake meet in Baltimore on December 9-11. Loudoun County, Va. – In an effort to better recognize student-athletes who positively affect high school sports in Loudoun County, Power Train and LoCoSports have teamed up to announce Loudoun County High School senior Rebecca Frey as the Power Train and LoCoSports Teammate of the Month for November 2017. As a defensive specialist for the storied Lady Raiders’ volleyball program, Frey helped Loudoun County to the school’s tenth state championship in the past eleven seasons this fall.
