Ashburn (December 28, 2012) – Junior forward Megan Della Penna (12 rebounds, 10 offensive) and the rest of the Stone Bridge High School girls basketball team dominated the boards on Friday night at Briar Woods in a one-sided 47-7 victory in the second round of the Honda of Dulles Battle of Ashburn.
The Bulldogs (6-4) grabbed 23 offensive rebounds, one more than the Falcons (1-10) total rebound count of 22. Stone Bridge senior point guard Niki Prince and junior forward Annie Bokulic led all scorers with eight points each.
