Loudoun County, Va. – In an effort to better recognize student-athletes who positively affect high school sports in Loudoun County, Power Train and LoCoSports have teamed up to announce Loudoun County High School junior Taylor Kibble as the Power Train and LoCoSports Athlete of the Month for May 2018.
Kibble continued to dominate the Dulles District during the month of May as the junior forward scored 15 goals and added 13 assists to her near 50-goal, 25-assist campaign in 2018.
“Taylor is a natural athlete. She’s fast, she’s strong, she’s extremely agile and she can strike the ball like I’ve never seen,” Loudoun County head coach Olivia Mackey said. “Taylor also dedicates a lot of her off time to training and being the best soccer player that she can be, both technically and physically. She sets her mind to a goal, and makes sure that she achieves it.”
[adrotate banner=”6″]Named the Dulles District and VHSL Region 4C Player of the Year, Kibble remains humble, always putting her teammates and the team’s success first.
“I think what sets Taylor a part from others is that she is very humble,” Mackey said. “She prides herself in her accolades and personal goals but always puts her teammates and our team goals first, and I think that mentality is part of what makes her such an incredible athlete.”
The Power Train and LoCoSports Athlete of the Month is selected from nominations based on student-athletes having great success, hustle, work ethic, attitude and heart.
Power Train invites all athletes and teammates of the month to either of their Loudoun locations for a free month of training.
