Loudoun County, Va. – In an effort to better recognize student-athletes who positively affect high school sports in Loudoun County, Power Train and LoCoSports have teamed up to announce Stone Bridge High School junior Taylor Knowles as the Power Train and LoCoSports Teammate of the Month for October 2017.
In just the program’s second year, Knowles helped the Lady Bulldogs to a 15-7 record and the Potomac District tournament championship.
“Taylor brings her track sprint speed to the team, making her extremely difficult to cover and turning defense into attack very quickly,” Stone Bridge head coach Richard Hayden said. “Her ability to ‘stretch the field’ creates space and opportunities for teammates. She also works hard to fulfill defensive responsibilities.”

“Taylor is a great teammate through her positive attitude, the enthusiasm she brings to the game, her high energy and work rate, and her coachability and her desire to improve,” Hayden said.
The Power Train and LoCoSports Teammate of the Month is selected from nominations based on student-athletes having a great team-first mentality, hustle, work ethic, attitude and heart.
All athletes and teammates of the month are invited to Power Train for a free month of training.
